Not the fit I was hoping for, it's a minimizer.
I've been looking for a bra that could provide a modest look under a T-shirt. I was thrilled to find this one in my size, but sad to see that it fits me like a minimizer. The cups are structured to flatten in the front, and don't give the support on the sides that I need. And since the cups seem to run flatter and wider than I expected, the underwire can't fit snugly or properly against my ribcage. Unfortunately, I don't think ordering a larger size will fix the problem. Definitely not the fit I was looking for.

IT SQUEAKS!!
Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful bra. Nice coverage, but it may run large as I noticed that there was a bit of room in the cups. And you know you're wearing underwire - which lost it another star. BUT. The freakin' thing SQUEAKS when I move! Not a problem when I'm in a crowd, or outside - probably because the sound blends in with every other sound. But in a quiet room, I SQUEAK! Strangely enough, this bought my loyalty to Playtex. It's been the first relatively comfortable bra I've bought in months! It supports very attractively and it eliminates the poke throughs. So I'm going to try a cup size smaller when ordering my next Playtex and maybe sans the underwire.

Pretty, well-made, love it!
I am a 40-B and I could not be happier with this bra. I can see how ladies who are larger in the chest might not want the uplift this bra provides, but at my size, it is great. The padding is enough to prevent show-through when it's cold, and it adds that little extra to make everything look very nice. The smooth fabric is a plus, since there are no seams to show through slinky or knit tops. I ordered one and then ordered two more in different colors once I realized how much I liked it. In fact I am on this page writing this review because I have returned to buy a fourth one. The straps do not slip, and the construction seems very solid. Fits true to size.
