These are very effective once you are able to put them on ... they are NOT made for people with arthritis or any other dexterity problem. Also not made for people who have problems bending over for long periods of time since it takes quite a long time to put them on. I could barely stretch them across my foot, much less, pull them up. Definitely no worries about them "falling down" though.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Luv2sing Love these socks!
These support trouser socks are very, very nice. I've had mine for about two years (don't wear them daily but i'm ordering more so I can). They have maintained their shape, have never run or snagged, and offer firm support. They are not the same as prescription socks, but for the price, they are a great help for my tired legs. I work retail and have trouble with my legs at night. But when I wear these socks during the day, I don't feel as much fatigue in my legs. I can't afford the $100 plus range for prescription socks, so these JMS socks are literally a lifesaver. Highly recommend buying several pair.

I loved the support I felt good when put them on. BUT they were too Long they went pass my knees & for Knee Hi's that is not a Good thing. So I tried pulling them down a bit, by the end of the day they had cut my legs into!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LDavid72 Love the reciprocated heel and toe
I ordered these by accident (wasn't expecting support socks). From now on I will only order the support type! The toe and heel areas are very interesting. Its made of a different material that is more stretchy so that your toes aren't squished together all day (I hate that). Firm support everywhere, but you can still wiggle your toes. This is a great feature! I do have one small complaint. These run a little bit long. I am 5'11" and can still pull these up over my knee. If I wear them below the knee I have to fold them over or slide them down which takes away from the support. Also I've worn this pair about 40 times and still no runs, picks, stretching, or fading.
