As a nurse I am standing for long periods of time and as I get older my legs have been getting more and more tired by the end of my 12 hour shifts. I decided to give these a try and have been very happy with them. They fit well and give a nice amount of support for my legs. I can feel the difference they have made by the end of my shift. I like that they are leggings too because I don't always feel like wearing full pantyhose. I will continue to keep wearing these and my only suggestion would be to increase the amount of spandex for even more support for us tired nurses. Other colors might be nice too.

I have not actually worn these yet however they are what I was looking for in a lightweight legging. I am sure I will be pleased once I do wear them.

I have a problem with edema (swelling) in my calves. The
anti-embolism stockings the doctor prescribed for me actually made my legs hurt more. These Footless Tights give me firm compression in not only my lower legs, but also all the way up both legs.
They look good. They feel good. They are warm. They stay in place. They do fit SNUG, so you might try one size larger. Unfortunately I can't do that, as I wear the "IJ" size. LOL! They are definitely worth the purchase price. I do hope the company doesn't stop selling them.

First, understand that these are footless tights, not leggings as Hanes uses the word for some of their other products (see also recommended products below). Aside from the name, these are really great.
A question you may or may not want to ask but I will answer anyway is: can you wear these as leggings alone (i.e., not under something)? I don't recommend wearing just leggings alone unless you're a 20-year old college girl who wants to show off, but it's ok for a quick emergency run to the store. Alternatively, you may want to know whether you can wear these to the gym or for yoga.
The answer: kinda, depending on how bashful you are. First, they have a small cotton crotch, so that will be visible. Further, there is a small line on the thigh where the control top ends. If you're ok with that, if you choose your underwear carefully, you can mostly get away with it, in circumstances where modesty is not strictly required.
I have both the grey and black pair, and will only discuss the black pair (forget wearing the grey alone!). If you wear black panties, and pull more of the material up from the legs, you'll hide 95%. I've worn these to yoga and no one has said anything. Worn with both bikini and thong panties (always black) and been pretty ok with the look...in a room full of women.
It should be noted that they are fantastic as yoga pants. They're very snug, so they move with you 100%. Definitely could work for dancers too.
