I've been measured as 40DDD. I'm wearing this bra as I write this review. I bought this 6-7 months ago, have worn it almost weekly since then. The bra is true to cup/band size, is very supportive, with comfy straps. I've had no problem with the straps "curling" into a skinny strap and cutting my shoulders (I've had this problem with one other bra style I reviewed). In fact, I wish all bra straps felt this good on my shoulders. I love the comfort gel straps! I always wear my bras with the tightest band and strap fit as possible, the straps stayed in place. I've had no problems with "pinching" on my back, or most of the negatives I'm reading here. I've had good luck with this bra over a 6-7 month period.

Let's begin with the negative. I love the idea of a gel strap. However, it isn't wide enough and folds over on itself. This creates a more spaghetti strap feel and digs in. So much for the gel. HOWEVER, being rather large chested, over the years I have gotten an indent on the top of my shoulders, and this might account for some of that happening. But it doesn't happen with my other bras, so just be aware. Other than that I like the bra. I think it might be a good summertime bra that might wick away any moisture. The fabric was soft and I felt the band and cup sizes were true. It is worth a try.

Unlike other reviews, I have had no problem with the shoulder straps slipping, being itchy, etc.
I am a 38B. I'm not that big, but I do have a wide back. All of the other bras I own, have very small backs that curl or cuts into me. This one doesn't. It has a nice wide back that stays in place and the shoulder straps do not cut into me at all.
My only problems with this bra is:
1. The cut is very high. Definitely not a bra I can wear with a low cut top. I'm actually looking at purchasing the Playtex Secrets plunge style bra.
2. There is no padding in the cups. I have corrected this problem by using some $20 gel padded inserts. I feel they give me more support and help me keep the "girls" perky instead of allowing gravity to take over. Contrary to popular belief...even B cups start to sag. lol
All in all, to sit at a computer for 8 hours a day, this is a great bra to wear at the office. It has nice back and shoulder support and is quite comfortable. For this being my FIRST Playtex bra, I probably should have gone with the Secrets line so that I don't feel like I'm wearing my Grandmother's bra. Especially, since I'm only 40 years old. lol

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Sperlaine Bra detailing tears easily
I bought a couple of these bras and the satin detailing tore along the center seam between the cups. It just doesn't stretch like the rest of the fabric that makes up the bra. There is some reinforcement underneath the satin, so you won't have a "wardrobe malfunction," but I cannot recommend this bra if you are truly full-figured.
